Yahoo recently did an article on how much home you can buy for $300,000 across America.  The point of the article is that now is a great time to buy a home.  Home prices are down 22% since the peek in 2006.  The Least amount of home you can buy for $300,000 is a 576 square foot home in San Diego.   And how much home can you buy in Houston for $300k, drum roll please....... 3,176 square feet.  WOW!

 

Like the article points out, the home prices in Houston have stayed more steady then the rest majority of the U.S.  Houston is a large City with suburbs such as The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Katy, Pearland, Conroe, etc.  And $300k can get you different amount of home depending on where you would like to live.  To look for homes in the area you want to live check out: Houston Real Estate.  If you are thinking of relocating to the Texas area, give me a call today.
