HubSpot has once again put out a very informative book on Social Marketing.  It is titled "Facebook Page Marketing".  It goes over just that, Facebook Pages and how to get the most out of them.  Here are just some of the topics:

1. You can have different pages-  So why not do a page for the areas of town you focus on.  Or maybe even specific developments/sub divisions that are in your "farm" area.  You are not limited to one page
2. How often should you post on your wall?- per the experts you should do it every other day, this gets you the most attention.  Personally, for me I post when I have something good to post and I don't post if its not a worth while topic
3. When is the best time to post?- the morning and on weekends, this is when Facebook has the most traffic and visitors. 
4. Custom Tabs- You can actually add Tabs to your Facebook Page.  Very cool, and helps get even more exposure. 
5. Buttons/ Links-If you have a facebook page, advertise it.  Make a button or link for it so more people go to the page
6. Blog on your Page- its better and more informative then just updates.  Plus this gives you one more free place to post your blogs.  this will also help you with your Search Engine Optimization. 
7. Advertise on Facebook- of course Facebook thinks this is a good idea, but it will also help you get traffic to your page.
8. Facebook page traffic updates- This is not in the book, but also helpful.  Facebook sends you a weekly update on the traffic to your Page.  How many visitors, increase or decrease of traffic since last week, etc
